Clothespins
A game for birthday parties, baby showers, or sleepovers where guests steal each other’s clothespins by catching each other saying forbidden words. It’s a good game to kind of play throughout the duration of an event, just in the background.
I spy
This is a perfect game for young kids, easy to play, and one that encourages observation skills. Players pick objects around a room and try to get others to guess what they’re spying.
Mirror drawing
This is a fun drawing activity (not really with a winner or loser). Fun for little kids and good to keep them quiet, too. 🙂
Animal signs
A fun, silly indoor party game involving animals, sound effects, hand motions, and rhythm. It can be challenging, but it’s sure to get a lot of laughs.
Simon says
Simon says is a simple game, great especially for young kids. Simply put, you tell each other to do things and then you do it. 🙂
Winks
A good party game for teens, perfect for big group dates. It also involves winking at each other, so it just might get a little flirty. 😉
Mystery gift pass
This is a fun party activity, great for little kids and perfect for class parties (if you’re a room mom). It works well for Christmas, but could be used for other holidays, too.
Alphabet chant
There’s not really a winner or a loser, but players take turns coming up with phrases for each letter of the alphabet, like “My name is Bridget, my husband’s name is Brandon, we live in Bermuda, and we sell bouncey balls.” Good for car trips.
Twenty questions
A simple, classic guessing game. Guess another player’s noun in twenty questions or less.
Spoons!
A fast-paced, fast-moving card game, good for big or smaller groups of people, and always a crowd pleaser.
