Line tag
Line tag is an easy variation of tag you can play on a basketball or volleyball court (or preferably those basketball-and-volleyball-courts-in-one). Perfect for small kids and perfect for killing time. I have fond memories of playing it at my church building when I was a kid…
Missionary tag
A fun variation of tag that gives players more of a chance to rest between runs. The game is played using pairs, which is why we always called it missionary tag (missionaries often preach in pairs).
Capture the flag
Capture the flag is a classic; a great outdoor game, especially fun at night; perfect for big groups, family reunions, or church youth activities.
Glow-in-the-dark dodgeball
One of my all-time favorite games, glow-in-the-dark dodgeball is intense and active, gets your adrenaline pumping, and makes you feel all cool and sneaky. Awesome.
Castles and beavers
Castles and beavers (or castillos y castores, in Spanish) is a children’s game that comes from Mexico. Definitely one of my all-time favorites. It doesn’t really have a winner or a loser, but it’s hilariously fun.
